Checked baggage allowances
Travelling with checked baggage? Find out the total number of luggage you’re allowed to bring in the aircraft hold, including their maximum weight and size.
Economy Class allowance
The number of checked bags you can bring when travelling in Economy Class depends on multiple details, such as your destination and ticket type. Besides, you can always purchase extra bags, during or after booking. We always offer the following baggage allowance per ticket type.
- Light ticket: no checked baggage included.
- Standard or Flex ticket: 1 item of checked baggage, up to 158 cm (length + width + height) including handles and wheels and with a maximum weight of 23 kg.
On some routes, you can bring 1 additional checked bag on top of the regular allowance. Make sure to calculate the exact number for your route.
Premium Comfort Class allowance
When flying Premium Comfort Class, you can bring 2 items of checked luggage. Each bag can be up to 158 cm (length + width + height) including handles and wheels, with a maximum weight of 23 kg.
Business Class allowance
When flying Business Class, you can bring 2 items of checked luggage. Each bag can be up to 158 cm (length + width + height) including handles and wheels, with a maximum weight of 32 kg.
Allowance for kids
The number of checked bags you can bring for your kids depends on their ticket type and whether or not they have their own seat.
- Did you book a seat for your child? You can bring the number of checked bags that’s included in the ticket type you chose.
- Is your baby travelling on your lap? If you’ve booked a ticket type that includes checked baggage, you can bring 1 item of 10 kg for your child.
Already booked a flight?
We strongly advise you to check your trip details to see how much checked luggage you’re allowed to bring. Concerned it might not be enough? No worries, you always have the option to purchase extra luggage.
Irregular sized or packed baggage
Note that we’ll unfortunately have to refuse your baggage if the packing or shape can cause damage or block the baggage handling system. This includes ball-shaped baggage and baggage packaged with clingfilm that’s meant for food packaging. Professional sealing is allowed if it doesn’t result in unmanageable baggage.
